Clare’s Fine Gael TD has welcomed the announcement of €10 million to be given to support Shannon and Cork airports.
The funding is earmarked for capital expenditure, and while it’s understood that around €5 million will go to Shannon, it’s not yet clear what exactly the funding will be spent on.
