IDA Ireland insists the MidWest will continue to feature heavily in their plans for attracting major international firms to Ireland.
US medical equipment firm Edwards Lifesciences is the latest company to expand here, officially opening their Shannon facility this week, which will cater for 60 jobs.

The company will employ 600 in total by 2020 either in Shannon or Limerick and this has led to hope being expressed that other major firms will follow suit.
