A leading housing charity prevented almost 100 Clare households from entering homelessness last year.
Threshold’s latest annual report has revealed there were only six counties where it assisted more households with remaining in a home than Clare in 2025.
The national housing charity’s figures show it supported 413 households in this county last year, comprising 546 adults and 367 children.
It opened 331 new cases here and prevented a total of 97 households from entering homelessness.
Of those who it helped to stay in a home in Clare, 129 were adults and 91 were children.
The charity worked with at-risk households countywide, supporting 365 adults and 251 children in situations of this nature.
Across the country, Threshold liaised with 19,579 households, helping 3,704 households avoid homelessness.
