It’s hoped Ennis will secure more Gardaí this year to stamp out day-time anti-social behaviour issues.
According to Oireachtas figures, there were 200 Gardaí operating out of the county town in 2007, compared to 115 today.

Speaking during a visit to Ennis on Friday, Justice Minister Jim O’Callaghan said he’s confident of boosting Garda resources here if national recruitment targets are met.
