It’s hoped a focus on expanding existing routes and securing new services at Shannon Airport will lead to continued positive growth there.
It’s after half-year figures from the airport have revealed there’s been an almost 7% jump in passenger numbers compared with the first six months of last year.

This puts Shannon on track to record an almost 30% increase by the end of 2018, compared to when it separated from the Dublin Airport Authority five years ago.
