Gardaí are seeking CCTV footage following a fatal road crash in East Clare.
A woman in her 80s passed away yesterday from injuries sustained in the collision near Moymore, Tulla on Monday.
Emergency services were alerted around 3.30 on Monday following a collision involving two cars on the R352.
A female passenger, aged in her 80s was taken by ambulance to University Hospital Limerick for treatment of serious injuries.
She was pronounced deceased during the early morning of yesterday morning.
A Family Liaison Officer has been appointed to the family of the deceased.
A female driver of one of the cars, who was aged in her 50s, was also taken to University Hospital Limerick for treatment of serious injuries.
Garda Forensic Collision Investigators attended the scene and an examination has taken place. The road has since reopened.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed this collision to come forward.
Road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam and were travelling on the R352 near Moymore, Tulla between 3:00pm and 3:30pm on Monday, are asked to make this available to investigating Gardaí.
