Gardaí say they want to “eradicate” public day drinking from Ennis’s town centre.
An initiative introduced in recent months to combat a rise in anti-social behaviour on O’Connell Street and adjacent routes has resulted in court orders being served to three different individuals.

These will effectively prohibit perpetrators from being present on these streets for a period of one year.
Ennis-based Community Policing Sergeant Dominic Regan says they want everyone to feel safe and comfortable in the area.
