A Garda probe is continuing following the theft of a tractor in South-East Clare.
The incident took place between 12.15 and a quarter to one on Sunday and during this window a pre-90s John Deere was stolen from a field in Clonlara.
The vehicle was then driven through Feakle, Caher and then into Flagmount where it was recovered by Gardaí.
Clare Crime Prevention Officer Sergeant Catríona Holohan has this appeal for information.
“Gardaí in Killaloe are continuing their investigations into the theft of a John Deere tractor from the Clonlara area on Sunday morning between 12.15am and a quarter to one. During this half hour window this pre-90’s green John Deere tractor was stolen from a field in Clonlara and it was driven up through East Clare into Feakle, Caher and then into Flagmount where it was recovered by Gardaí. Gardaí are appealing to anyone that may have been driving along this route in the early hours of Sunday morning or may live along this route and have CCTV.
