A 23 year old Galway man has passed away following an alleged assault in Australia on December 17th.

Thomas Keaney from Ballyconneely died at Royal Perth Hospital after being struck to the ground while waiting for a taxi.
The incident happened in the early hour’s of the morning outside Euro Kebab on Aberdeen Street, Northbridge in Perth.
A 22-year-old man, Abbas Al Jrood, appeared before Perth Magistrates Court facing charges of grievous bodily harm – he’s since been remanded in custody.
