In France, a man’s been shot and injured after attacking a police officer near Notre Dame cathedral in Paris.
People were being urged to stay away from the area, and visitors to the popular tourist attraction were being kept inside.

The attacker reportedly used a hammer, and it’s understood a policeman was hurt before shots were fired.
French police say the incident is now under control, and the county’s anti-terrorism office has opened an investigation.
