A former Clare TD is set to take up a new role in public affairs.
Clarecastle-based Joe Carey has joined Pinnacle Public Affairs, following more than 25 years in public life.

First elected to Clare County Council in 1999, he served four terms in Dáil Éireann before retiring in 2024.
During his political career, he chaired Oireachtas committees on Transport and Communications, and Rural and Community Development.
