It’s hoped a fundraising event will shine a light on opportunities for visually impaired golfers in Clare.
Spanish Point Golf Club will host the Irish Blind Golf Classic this Saturday, bringing golfers together for a special fundraiser in support of Irish Blind Golf.

The event is held in association with Irish Blind Golf, which, now in its 35th year and supports blind and visually impaired people to learn, enjoy and continue playing golf.
Visually impaired golfer and captain of Irish Blind Golf, Paddy Morgan, says the funds raised will help tee up new opportunities for players in Clare and across Ireland to compete at home and on the international stage.
