Clare Samaritans has expressed hope this year’s Nollaig na mBan Dinner will help raise funds for the purchase of a new outreach van for the service.
The event, ran in conjunction with the Ennis branch of Soroptimists International raised over €14,000 last year, with a goal of €15,000 set for this year’s event to help acquire the van.

The vehicle would enable the Samaritans to expand their connections across Clare, bringing their message to more communities around the county.
Clare Samaritans Deputy Director for Fundraising and Publicity, Jennifer Vickers, says the van provides an essential part of their services.
