The Ennis-Limerick rail line will re-open tomorrow.
The line has been closed since late January due to flooding at Ballycar, where there have been persistent flooding events in recent years.

Irish Rail has previously carried out works to raise the track, but no plans are in place for a permanent solution, with the company saying additional works would cost in the region of ten million euro.
Spokesperson for Irish Rail, Jane Cregan has been telling me that a test train will operate today, but she doesn’t foresee any issues ahead of tomorrow’s re-opening.
