The new President of Ennis Chamber of Commerce says the government needs to cut costs for businesses and introduce more employment incentives to get the people of Clare back to work

Michelle Madden’s comments come after new figures revealed a monthly jump of 24 in the town’s live register, in spite of a drop elsewhere in Clare.
The government has also announced incentives to encourage companies to hire the long-term unemployed, something Michelle Madden feels should be developed further.
