A Clare Cancer Survivor is urging people to attend a unique 24-hour event in Ennis to support patients and families and to raise vital funds for treatment of the condition.
The Ennis Relay for Life takes place at 2pm on Saturday at Tim Smythe Park and will run right through until 2pm Sunday.

The event will involve music, games and activities for children and a candle of hope ceremony at dusk, with all donations going to the Irish Cancer Society.
Ennis woman and Breast Cancer Survivor Lorraine White says its something that provides hope in the most trying times.
