Emergency services are attending the scene of a serious road crash in east Clare.
One car was involved in the collision on the Scariff to Tulla Road, outside Bodyke, just before midnight last night.

Units of Clare County Fire and Rescue Service from Scarriff station responded to the incident along with National Ambulance Service paramedics and Gardaí.
The road remains closed between Ballinahinch Cross and the junction of the R352 with the L8211 at Kilnoe. Traffic is being diverted via alternative routes.
It’s understood that one person has been seriously injured.
The road is expected to remain closed for most of the morning.
