The road has reopened following a road incident near Bunratty this morning.
A single-vehicle is reported to have caught fire north bound on the dual carriageway shortly after 10am this morning.

Gardaí and units of Clare County Fire and Rescue Service have responded to the incident.
The road had been closed to allow for the services and tow truck to attend to the scene.
The Gardaí have now confirmed that the road has been cleared and traffic is flowing.
