East Clare Waterway Selected As Part Of Project To Improve Water Quality

An East Clare waterway has been selected as one of six catchment areas in the country to take part in a project to improve water quality.

The Graney catchment area spans 175 square kilometres and has been chosen for the ‘Waters of LIFE’ Project due to the pressures posed by surrounding forestry in maintaining high quality water status.

The overall project has a total budget of over €20,000.
