Donald Trump claims he’s “going to try” to visit Clare to attend this year’s Irish Open.
The US President made the statement during his bilateral meeting with Taoiseach Micheál Martin at The White House this afternoon.

Trump also added that the tournament is a “big event” and it would be an “honour” to visit Ireland.
Trump International Golf Links & Hotel Doonbeg will host the prestigious event later this year, which is expected to inject millions into the local economy.
