A protest will take place outside the Dail this evening in solidarity with the woman beaten unconscious in an unprovoked attack by a Clare based member of the Defence Forces.
Cathal Crotty of Parkroe Heights, Ardnacrusha, received a fully suspended sentence for the assault on Natasha O’Brien which he boasted about on social media.

Demonstrations took place across the country over the weekend in protest.
A further rally will take place outside the Dail this evening at 6pm, with demonstrations in Limerick and Cork tomorrow and Thursday.
