Clare Government TD Still Wants Aspects Of Concrete Levy To Be Amended

A Clare Government TD says there are still aspects of the concrete levy he wants to see amended by the Minister for Finance.

It’s after Paschal Donohoe confirmed the levy, introduced in the Budget, is to be cut from 10 percent to 5 percent and its introduction delayed until next September.

The money raised by the initiative is set to pay for the Defective Concrete Blocks redress scheme, including homeowners who’ve been impacted by pyrite in county Clare.
