The Shannon Airport Group is expressing confidence that a multi-million euro investment in the airport will greatly improve its passenger experience.
It comes as six new air bridges have been installed at the Clare base as part of a €3.1m enhancement.
Each bridge weighs in excess of 30 tonnes and will enable passengers to board aircraft directly from the airport terminal building without exposing them and airline crews to the elements.
