Kilrush Expecting Major Economic Boost For 3rd Vandeleur Festival

One of West Clare’s newest and fastest growing arts, music and cultural festivals gets underway in a fortnight and is expected to provide its biggest economic boost to the region to date.

The Vandeleur Festival in Kilrush attracted over 1,200 patrons last year and will return for its third instalment on Thursday June 26th.

The four day event will include internationally renowned headliners such as Comedian Bernard Casey, Ennis folk group Socks in the Frying Pan, country music star Gerry Guthrie and Irish-American ensemble Cherish The Ladies.

Head of Operations at Vandeleur Walled Gardens Brian Markham is confident all local businesses will benefit.
