Gardaí are investigating an alleged assault that has left man requiring hospital treatment.

The incident occurred in the Clancy Park area of Ennis on Monday afternoon.
A video has been circulated on social media platforms showing a bloodied scene apparently in the driveway of a domestic residence.
Gardaí have confirmed that a male has been treated in hospital. It’s understood that the scene was preserved by Gardaí for technical examination.
A spokesperson told Clare FM: “Gardaí have received report of an alleged incident of assault at a park earlier this afternoon in Ennis. Co. Clare.
A male aged in his late teens attended at Hospital where he was treated for injuries believed to be non-life threatening.”
Gardaí say ‘enquiries are ongoing.’
