A North Clare Councillor says it’s clear that action is required to ensure that the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre remains a success into the future.
The Council is looking to put a masterplan in place as part of the first step towards the expansion of facilities there.

In a tendering document, the local authority says the Cliffs was originally designed to accommodate 400,000 visitors a year, but that the real figure is now 1.5 million and that the site is now a victim of its own success.
Local Fianna Fáil Councillor Shane Talty, who will soon take up a position on the Cliffs of Moher Board, is welcoming this move by the local authority
