Clare County Council is hopeful a public bus service for Ennis town will be in place in the coming years.
The local authority is currently in the process of formulating a mobility plan for the county town.

The most recent survey conducted in relation to this plan found more than 7 in 10 people in Ennis would like like to see ‘immediate’ pedestrianisation measures in the county town.
Senior Executive Officer in the Ennis Municipal District, Leonore O’Neill says all methods of transport need to be considered and that a town bus service is a top priority.
