Clare County Council have approved plans for a 21 unit housing development in South East Clare.
Permission has been granted subject to 26 conditions following a request for further information earlier in the year.
The development, located in Firhill, Parteen, will consist of 15 two-storey semi detached units, four three-storey semi detached properties and two two-bed apartments.
The local authority initially ruled, in January of this year, that further information would be required in order to accept the application.
The council requested various site assessments be carried out including an Ecological Impact Assessment Report and a fully revised site layout plan detailing the boundaries and access to car parking spaces and public lighting.
Clare Council Council also sought extra detail on storm water drainage proposals sighting concerns around pipe sizes and drain capacity.
All relevant information was submitted by Kinetic Project Consulting, on behalf of Healy Partners Archictects, on June 29th.
Permission has now been granted subject to a number of conditions, including the applicant entering a connection agreement with Uisce Éireann to provide access to public and wastewater infrastructure and the provision of street lighting prior to the sale of the first housing unit.
