The Communications Officer for the Killaloe Diocese has hit out over a protest which has seen thousands of tickets for the Pope’s visit booked for the purpose of binning them.
The ‘Say Nope to The Pope’ campaign group is encouraging people who object to the Papal visit this summer to book the free tickets online in order to ensure a low turnout.
Pope Francis will visit Ireland on August 25th and 26th for the Catholic World Meeting of Families, with his visit taking in events in Knock, Croke Park and the Phoenix Park.
