Clare’s new Chief Superintendent is taking up his post in the county today.
Newly-promoted Sean Colleran is taking over from Michael Gubbins, who was appointed the Head of the Clare Garda Divsion only last March.

Chief Superintendent Colleran was most recently based in Galway and has significant experience in Garda Stations in the west of the County.
