A host of Clare’s festivals have been hit with a funding setback.
44 events here shared 35,000 euro in funding last year under the Community Tourism Initiative for the Diaspora, which was funded by Councils, IPB Insurance and Fáilte Ireland.

The scheme was launched in the aftermath of the Gathering and after three years it now appears to have been discontinued.
