IMPACT Trade Union is criticising the government for waiting until the end of the school term to publish the allocations for special needs assistants in schools.

The number of SNA's for Clare will be fall slightly in Clare from September, with a total of around three less posts across Clare's primary and secondary sectors.
This is despite an overall national increase, which has been welcomed by IMPACT which represents a number of SNAs.
