Clare is believed to be one of the best placed counties in Ireland to benefit from an upturn in domestic tourism.
It comes as new research shows travel uncertainty, rising costs and a growing focus on value for money are reshaping how people plan their holidays.
A survey of more than 2,160 adults in Ireland, commissioned by Hastings Hotels, found more than eight in ten holidaymakers are concerned about flight disruptions, while 38 per cent say a staycation will be their main holiday this year.
Chair of the Clare Tourism Advisory Forum, Seán Lally says Clare is in a strong position to capitalise on the trend.
