The Killaloe Diocese has announced the deaths of two Clare Canons.
Priest Emeritus Canon Seamus Mullin, initially from Kilrush, served as Parish Priest in Miltown Malbay for the past 37 years having previously served as president of St.Flannan’s College.

He will be laid to rest on Wednesday following Funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Miltown Malbay at 2pm.
Meanwhile, the death has also been announced of Priest Emeritus Canon Michael McLaughlin.
Canon McLaughlin was Kilmaley Parish Priest from 1993 to 2011 having also been chaplain in Cahercalla Hospital and Spiritual Director in St Flannan’s.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Kilmaley Church on Monday at 2.00 pm with burial after in the Church grounds.
