The Chair of the Clare branch of the IFA says changing weather patterns are posing challenges to the agricultural sector in the county.
It follows one of the sunniest Julys on record, with Shannon Airport recording 247.7 sunshine hours, the most since 1955.

Humid conditions are expected for the rest of the week, with rain forecast for early next week.
