Clare Habitats Subject To “Death By A Thousand Cuts”

It’s claimed habitats in Clare are being subject to death by a thousand cuts.

A new government report has found that 90% of Ireland’s EU-protected habitats are in poor condition, with over half continuing to decline.

It did find, however, that species such as the lesser horseshoe bat are well protected in Clare.
