The Clare branch of Macra na Feirme is warning that this county’s family farms are dying out.
It comes ahead of a special conference that will be held on Hotel Woodstock on September 12th which will be attended by local farming organisations and the Minister for Agriculture.

The ‘Farming in Clare: What the Future Holds’ event will aim to tackle issues such as generational renewal, profitability, and sustainability.
Kilnamona farmer and Macra Na Feirme Rep Catríona Power says action is needed.
