Clare Drug Outreach Service Working With Growing Number Of Rough Sleepers

A Clare drug addiction service says it’s working with a growing number of rough sleepers.

The Ana Liffey Project is a low threshold service, which currently has one full-time community outreach worker in this county.

The charity has launched a new one first step campaign along with a new free phone number 1800 78 68 28, to encourage people to take the first step towards help.

CEO Dawn Russell says they’re seeing a rise in abuse of synthetic drugs, non prescription tablets and alcohol.
