A Miltown Malbay based doctor insists that mental health must be a fundamental part of a student’s life.
Dr Billy O’Connell is commenting ahead of a meeting of the joint committee on education and skills later today, which will look at the provision and allocation of mental health services in primary and secondary schools.

The deputies will hear statements from academic experts and those that provide direct support to students.
