Clare Cups Could Be The Answer To Latte Levy

A company which manufactures products in Clare have found a way around the Latte Levy, by providing customers with compostable cups.

It’s been announced that a 15 cent charge may be added to the cost of a cup of coffee, as the government tries to crack down on waste.

Around 2 million cups are sent to the landfill every day in Ireland.

Java Republic says their cups, which are manufactured in Co Clare, can be organically recycled in under 90 days.
