Clare County Council is hopeful a public bus service for Ennis town will be in place in the coming years.
The local authority is currently in the process of formulating a mobility plan for the county town.
The most recent survey conducted in relation to this plan found more than 7 in 10 people in Ennis would like like to see ‘immediate’ pedestrianisation measures in the county town.
