Clare County Council is encouraging people to pick up their litter to protect Clare’s tourism economy.
Leave No Trace Ireland has launched its 2025 ‘Love This Place’ campaign calling for people in Clare to preserve county’s natural landscapes and amenities.

In April, the local authority received 99 complaints of illegal dumping while issuing 20 fines for littering over the same time.
Environmental Awareness Officer, Karen Foley, says it’s also crucial to stick to outlined trails not to damage habitats and the environment.
