The President of the Clare Association of New York says the events of September 11th still feel surreal 25 years on.
Maureen O’Neill Regan was attending a meeting in the city on the morning of the attacks in 2001.

2,996 people lost their lives in the terrorist attack and they will be remembered today at a series of memorials taking place across the city.
Maureen says she’ll never forget the events of the day.
