Representatives for Ambulance workers in Clare have described Labour Court proposals aimed at resolving ongoing pay disputes as a step in the right direction.
SIPTU and Unite are recommending that members accept the proposals, which include pay increases for a number of ambulance grades and protections for existing terms and conditions.

The recommendations will now go to a ballot of union members.
Midwest Irish Ambulance Representative Council member, Clooney Quin native Orla Considine says the most important thing now is to protect staff into the future.
