Dozens of cyclists are traversing the roads of Clare this weekend in an effort to raise money for local cancer sufferers.
All monies raised from the annual 250 mile cycle go towards their dedicated daycare Cancer Centre in Ballygriffey Woods, near Ruan as well as the annual pilgrimage to Lourdes.

The first stage of the cycle today will take the 70 participants from Ennis, through Ruan and Tubber into East Clare down to Killaloe, back up through Sixmilebrige and Ennis.
They will stay in Lisseycasy overnight before embarking on the second stage through West and North Clare tomorrow ( Sunday)
