Nurses at the region's accident and emergency unit report chronic levels of overcrowding this lunchtime.

Trolleywatch statistics from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show there are 37 patients on trolleys in the A&E unit at Dooradoyle, as well as a further 8 in overflow areas of the hospital's ward.
The total number of 45 is nearly twice that of the next highest number reported in any other hospital in Ireland.
