The annual celebration of the Burren Winterage Festival gets underway today and will last throughout the Bank Holiday weekend.
The celebration, which runs until Sunday, celebrates the ancient practice of winter grazing in the Burren area.
This year’s festival features a wide range of farming, heritage and cultural events taking place in Kinvara, County Galway and its neighbouring Burren farms.
