Burren gears up for Poc Fada

The home of the GAA founder is providing the backdrop for the inaugural Burren Poc Fada in North Clare today.

Set amidst the world-famous landscape of the Burren, including the ancient hill fort of Cahercommaun, the competition is the headline event of this weekend's Burren Rocks festival.

The event is being organised in conjunction with the Michael Cusack Centre, and participaants will look to finish the course from Carron old National School to the centre in as few shots as possible.
