British MPs Rule Out Action On Syria

The US Secretary of Defence has said the United States will continue to work to build a coalition willing to act on Syria.

Reacting to the news that the British parliament had rejected possible involvement in any US-led strikes, Chuck Hagel said he will continue to consult with allies in hopes of forming a coalition.

British Prime Minister David Cameron last night ruled out the involvement of British forces in any military operation, after MP’s rejected plans that would have allowed intervention with the backing of the UN.
