Bogus Charity Phone Scam Targeting People In Clare

Clare Gardaí are issuing a warning to people about a suspected bogus charity scam.

Reports have been received of a person ringing landline numbers around the county and asking for donations for the blind.

Gardaí say it appears to be a fraud, and Clare’s Crime Prevention Officer Tríona O’Rourke has this advice for anyone who receives a call:
